Kat Rips it Up on the Dirt Corps Line at Duthie Hill
Damn, you go girl! Just had to post yet another great Walter Yi vid. This one of Kat Sweet of the Dirt Corps, ripping it up on the Dirt Corps Line at Duthie. Huge props to Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance for making Duthie a reality and an ongoing project. As you can see, the Dirt Corps line is a ripper and they're still hard at work finishing it up!
With that said - she has over the last year or so been riding for the Dirt Corps. What is outstanding and unusual about the Dirt Corps is that members don't just race. There are minimums for volunteer/advocacy in the bike community and each and every team member meets their commitment with dedication and enthusiasm. The best blend of competition and community, truly good stuff.
OK, guess it's time to head back to the grind and get out the door to work. Just had to give a shout out to Kitty Kat Sweet and showcase her usual skills!
See you on the trails soon!

Couple of items here worthy of mention. Let's talk about Kat first...amazing female rider, gives back to the bike community outside of Dirt Corps, has helped our team (formerly Seattle Mountain Bike Chapter of Team LUNA Chix) countless times with skills clinics, training the trainer, etc. She works for Cascade Bicycle Club (one our fabulous auction sponsors yet again this year!), and she runs the local chapter of Trips for Kids, and truly she is a tireless advocate for mountain biking and getting people, young and old out onto the trails to ride and move dirt. With that said - she has over the last year or so been riding for the Dirt Corps.
